My gosh, I really don't understand why you only have three comments on this! I mean, it's really well writtened, and interesting. And beautiful. Really. I really love this, the sad kind of thing, but it gets very bueatiful in the end. As I sad in my other comment, I could paint it all in my head, and that's a good thing, I'm telling you.
I hope you write something like this again some time, I really liked it.
That was a wonderful chapter. My favourite part was when Frank was describing how he missed Gerard just being around the house. That was beauitful and at the same time so heartbreaking.
I was so glad when Gerard finally realized what had been happening back home while he was gone. It was good he was just incredibly oblivious, and now he'll do anything to fix it.
Most adorable three part I've ever read, you're good at this. This one really deserves more recognition then it does! I've seen it on LJ though, and I am sure you have a legion of fans on that. I think LJ is more suited to the smaller things, they get more recognition there, as this one completly deserves!
