@ Jamie Benn - I am totally incapable of writing anything other than a happy ending. :-)
@ Flyers_girl - Aww, thank you!
@ H_DIZZLE - Glad you liked the ending!
@ AkitoBlossom - No Malkin for the next one, but I am working on one at the moment.
@ MelissaIsAce - Thanks! I'm so honored that you think it's your fav hockey story. I have a few others that might appeal to you if you liked this one.
@ Dallas. - I know, right?! Paul Martin is such an enigma. He's so quiet and serious and so damn good at his job. Ugg, I love him.
@ Anya Tepes - Awww, happy tears, I hope!
@ ace merrill. - I totally build my life around writing stories in which I make NHL'ers cry. ::evil grin:: I'm working on another fic right now. I'm about three our four chapters in and it's flowing nicely. Hopefully in a month or so it will be ready for public consumption.
@ mstaffa7 - Ha! Too funny! I've been the victim of the wrong Keurig button too. The next fic is forthcoming. Maybe in about three or four weeks. I just started it yesterday.
@ LoveGame13 - Thank you for forgiving the author for the drama llama. No matter what I put you guys through, I'll always give you a sickeningly sweet happy ending.
This was so sweet and yet another amazing piece of writing! I was so happy to come home from a 2 week vacation to the surprise of an almost finished story!! I remember the first time I saw 'Road To The Winter Classic' and they showed Paul as mustache boy...my only thought was "God, he looks like an accountant, not an NHL defenseman". :)
Aww, yay!! I loved the story, as usual. And I had a few tears gathering when I read that PAUL WAS CRYING OMG, HE WAS CRYINIANSLDN SHIT. Oh jeez, I didn't expect him to be wiping tears away or trying not to cry, I mean when Adam (Burish) was shaking from his sobs and trying to keep from being heard, I thought that there wouldn't be another crying player, BUT NOW PAULIE IS UP THERE.
And we had a ## months later thing too! which I enjoyed, I'm so happy that they're happy together! and married and is gonna have a kid. This was beautiful, and their relationship seemed a little quick compared to the Brooks, Joffrey stories.. But I'm in love with your stories, and ideas either way.
And I'm sad that it'll be a while before you come back, but I understand. Life happens.
I was making coffee in the keurig. So engrossed in the story I pressed the large cup button....without the CUP. The ending was worth the mess. I love the total happily ever after closure. Can't wait for the next story : )
Alright, I forgive you about the drama haha. :) I'm glad Paul came to his senses, and I'm glad Cam forgave him. I'm also happy about their little addition too!
@ ace merrill. - Maybe not so much groveling, but definitely showing his hand and letting her know that he's not playing around. Which is what is going to win her over.
@ bostongirl33 - I think in his own way Paul is going to take a leap and make a sacrifice for her that he won't even consider a big thing. You'll see...
@ mstaffa7 - I can't imagine the kind of complex some of the guys who actually care get when they're pursued by women who are after them for the wrong reasons. It seems like a really lonely way to live.
@ soupy - They're both about to open up and explain where they're coming from. And they're realize they both wanted the same thing after all. And that's why Cam will take his sorry butt back.
I kind of feel bad for Paul...he's clearly had some bad experiences that Have made him a little gun shy. Glad Cam seems to be slightly understanding to that. I'm sure he'll fiND some way to make it up to her...
Check 'em out and see if any of the descriptions appeal to you. I'm partial to the Joffrey Lupul fic and the Adam Burish one. :-)
