But on a more serious note, thank you so much for the lovely comment. This does very much overlap with Little Bird because that scene with all the sass is totally canonical (and that's exactly why I love these two and why they're my OTP ), but this is supposed to go a little further into the storyline once I actually get it all finished and posted

(so i'm just gonna say that you have inspired me to start watching the 100 as soon as school lets out in june before i get into the actual comment)

NOW.

You did such an amazing job like I am biting the collar of my jacket trying not to screech from the amazingness that is this story. Oh my goodness. And you have these lines just scattered here and there throughout the writing that could just mix into the rest of the story but they don't because they stand out in such a nice, slap-in-the-face-notice-me-bruh kind've way and I love it. I can't even take the time to tell you all of my favorite lines in this because I'd basically be here quoting the whole story and I'm not sure if that's acceptable.

BUT SCREW IT IMMA DO A FEW OF THEM ANYWAY.

"She’s restless, she’s undulating, and for a moment, he can’t bring himself to look away, completely captivated by her flames." what the hell the story just started and bam here's some poetry to make you twist in your seat because you can't write like this CAN YOU nope you can only sit here and admire and sap yourself because that line.

"So he sees her bitter sarcasm and raises her one better." i wish i had a deep reason for loving this so much but i just. the sass. that's what got me.

“If you’re looking for someone to talk you down, tell you that you’re just upset and you’re not thinking straight…I’m not that guy.” NOW LOOKIE HERE. I READ LITTLE BIRD RIGHT BEFORE I READ THIS (and hopefully i will have time to comment tonight or tomorrow after school) AND IS THIS-IS THIS A REFERENCE. IS THIS THE SAME SITUATION FROM NEW EYES. OGBEUISBGUIESBG I'M GONNA DROP.

The description is just spot-on and so good and I fell right into the story. I'm gonna slap myself because I am so lost in this world. Even having yet to see The 100, I found myself just immersed in this and I felt like I've known these characters all along. This is just. Agh. The beauty. You did absolutely amazing.

(is it weird that i commented on the sequel before the prequel? ehhh???)

Understood, but at the same time, I'm not going to write this winding, sprawling epic novel that basically reiterates the entire plotline of a television show that's two seasons in and has a ridiculously massive amount of backstory. I'm just writing a oneshot inspired by a prompt, and this is what said prompt inspired me to write.

If you're going to judge a contest, you should judge based on the actual content of a story and the manner in which it was written, not just leave a comment complaining about how you don't know the fandom. That tells me absolutely nothing about the quality of my writing. Fandom/knowledge of characters has nothing to do with use of description, flow, dialogue, or grammar.

You need to understand, I made the contest so anyone could write whatever they wanted to write. I don't care if it's about The 100, One Direction, Twilight, etc., but, if you're going to write something for a contest, go into it thinking the contest maker, me, doesn't know what it is.

I will go into a story to read it acting like I don't know who...Tony Stark is, because I want the writer to tell me who he is.

Is Bellamy Blake a leader of a group of people? How did his world affect how he grew up? And who is Raven to him? How did his feelings for her develop? Why did they have sex?

Think of the questions, and answer them before the reader has time to wonder them (unless it's a mystery/suspense story then hold onto the information as long as you can until it comes time to reveal it.)

Answer these questions, and I'll be able to understand it.

I'm not trying to rude or anything, but that tells me absolutely nothing about the actual content of my story

If you weren't okay with people writing in fandoms you're not familiar with, you kinda should've included a list of fandoms in the rules or something.

I am sad to say I have never heard of The 100 so I had to do a bit if research to find out what fanfiction I was reading.

It was hot though don't get me wrong, but I really wished I could have known more about the characters seeing as I don't know who Bellamy Blake or Raven Reyes are.

Over all, though, it was good.

THE SEXUAL TENSION WAS LIKE BAM
And the way you wrote this was different to your Logan one shots but I really enjoyed how dark Bellamy was and then with Raven he's still himself but there are those small noticeable changes to his demeanour that are only there because of Raven and like damn I need to watch this show
Please tell me that these two are a thing
Oh man
and then the ending
the ending was so great but it also broke my heart and I'm so glad that this isn't over I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE SEX SCENES even the way you wrote that like at first bellamy was like nah I don't want her like that and then he changes his mind slowly and I like that you took your time to write that and have it be a gradual change rather than he instantly changes his mind when he first sees her naked
this was so dope
i can't wait to read more
