So my assumption is maybe Emma lied to Nerissa about the whole John thing? That would be why they're both thinking two different things? I don't know. This story became a surprise with this chapter, haha. I love it though. Excited to read more!

Drunk wallowing. Poor John. It's always strange when someone in a relationship dies but the relationship was falling apart/not all it was cracked up to be anyway. It leaves the other in such a weird situation.

I really like this but kind of feel like it's already maybe moving a bit too fast? Maybe you're just handling the situation differently than what I'm getting?? I'm not sure. But I really do like this and I can't wait to read more :3
