Though another comment to appreciate your GoT stuff is ALWAYS necessary. Because I love them, just not when Sansa gets harmed (or Margaery, come to think of it , but you haven't so far ). Please write more and post them for me to enjoy because I do and will always comment because I love your writing, Nicole.

Jon, my boy, you had so much right to be angry and hurt but I'm glad he realised that them being together would never be able to work in Winterfell, not like it would have done in King's Landing. They're two different worlds and where she didn't see that, he did.

And I'm not okay with it ending. I only really read your GoT stuff, and I hope there's more to come?? None that harm my Sansa, thank you.

So Rhaenys telling Viserys that she doesn't ever want to take the throne lest anything should happen to her father and brother seems like it kinda shouldn't have been said... Like, I just get the feeling that she shouldn't have said that.

Dammit Jon, I told you! I TOLD YOU!!! He set himself up for heartbreak and then Rhaenys doesn't show up, not that I expected her to, fair enough, but then expects Jon to be so happy for her when she marries his brother?? Like, is just incredible stupid or just plain naive????

This is a pretty impressive fanfic, especially for such a difficult world to write about. I like that you broke away from the constraints of the book universe and created your own while still remaining true to the characters we all love so much! Your writing is engaging and beautiful, and your choice of words really complements the familiar personalities we see here. So far it seems like a pleasant alternate universe with plot that is a lot more light-hearted while still throwing in the scheming and plotting. I’m pretty excited to see just how much you incorporate the timeline of the books in your wonderful story, IE the invasion of the wildlings and return of the white walkers!

Also, I’ve gotta say that I just love how you put in there the tidbit about Rhaegar talking about his relationship with Lyanna – I know we all always wondered what would’ve happened if he never ran off with her. You did a damn good job portraying the alternate timeline. BUT fan speculation now is that Jon is the product of Rhaegar and Lyanna’s love affair, and that Lyanna died in child birth when Ned was going to take her from the tower. Who are Jon’s parents here?! Could play huge in the story. I’m eager to read more!

Well, at least this Rhaegar has his head on straight. I mean, just imagine the consequences had he ran off with Lyanna...

Did Jon SERIOUSLY contemplate crowning Rhaenys if he won?? SERIOUSLY??? Like, I am seriously glad Robb won, just because crowning someone the queen of love and beauty is a big deal.

Kind of unsure how visiting a brothel would do any real damage to Robb's reputation, except make Ned disappointed in him. Men were allowed to do those types of things, it just wasn't spoken about. Talk about sexism at its best.

You also have "Princess Rhaenys of house Targaryen" and it's not an error but 'house' should have a capitalised 'h'.

Just read chapter one, and I am absolutely in love with it. The way you write is very detailed but it flows naturally. Keep it up!

Okay, now that I got that out. I love your writing style in this. It fits with the whole Game of Thrones universe really well. I've been kind of avoiding GoT fanfics because I love the whole atmosphere of the show and it isn't something that seems easy to recreate, but you did it really well.

I love that you set it in a time where everyone is still alive (EXCEPT FOR SANSA OMG??!?). I love the Starks so much and Robb was just a sweetie so I'm glad your story kind of centers around him and Jon.

Ah, I just love it. You character development is on point and I like that you changed the story line up so much while still keeping the feeling of GoT.

I stumbled unto this story by the 'Give some, take some' feature that has started on Mibba, and I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised. While others might carry on with the storylines as described and set out in the books of G.R.R. Martin, you chose a different path. I like it.

I like it that you looked at this world and thought: What if? What if the targaeryens (I never spell that right) were not overthrown, what if things turned out differently?

Your writing is very good and I hope you keep at it, this story is a delight!

I have to be honest, I didn't expect to enjoy this. Not as an affront to you or your writing, just from the perspective that I am not a fan of fantasy and have not read or seen A Song of Fire and Ice/Game of Thrones. However, your writing is simply fantastic.

I will always admire the way you create such vivid characters. They are all flawed, and all designed for such unique purposes that they execute so well. You communicate flawlessly through dialogue and action. The characters all have such interesting relationships, and I can't wait to see how they all pan out. This is truly a fantastic story!

Welp, that was my first thought of the chapter. My second is Jon is finally getting some action. Like, damn. Can't fool no one, boy. Could tell from the time you found her sparring that you wanted that. What would your mother say? Oh, wait.
