I’ve never cried over fan fiction before. Wow, that was truly a roller coaster ride but so amazing. Your word choices were great and the last three chapters really hit me where it counts. Amazing job; I hope you write more in the future.

Thank you so much! Your praise is very kind. I’m still heartbroken about it being over but I’m enjoying cleaning it up and reworking some scenes. I should be posting the rewrites by the summertime.

I forgot to add that I was actually sobbing with that last chapter! My husband couldn’t believe I was crying like that over fiction! He pain was so real, so raw!

Wow. I have to say, I wasn’t sure how this story would end, but I definitely didn’t expect it to end this way! I was literally chewing at my nails with each chapter. The characters and scenarios were so real! It took some getting used to thinking of the real Billie Joe in that light, but he was so deliciously REAL, flawed and evil!

This is seriously one of the best stories I have ever read and I’m a college graduate, so I’ve read quite a lot in my 50 years for school and for pleasure. You really took the time to show us many sides of the characters, which in my opinion, allowed us to become completely vested in the story. Not an easy task with fiction, especially with characters that many know and love in their “real” public life.

I am looking forward to your re-write! Please let us know when it is posted. I know you said it was just to flush out the inconsistencies, but I would still like to read that version. I would have liked to see how Adrienne, Joey and Jakob dealt with everything from the time they learned of Mike’s murder, along with how Billie’s brothers and sisters coped. Will that be part of the re-write? Either way, great story! I would love to read any work you compose in the future. You are a wonderfully gifted writer!

I read this story over the last 3 days and I am devo that it's over! It was amazing!!! I'm a huge GD fan always have been, was really into reading fan fic a few years ago- made an attempt too, but 3 chapters in and I got caught up with work and getting married. I'm now pregnant and have nothing but time on my hands so decided to pop back to the site. I genuinely thought it would be full of kids stuff! But you did not dissapoint. I adore this story

I have to say that I have never in my life read any kind of story with Billie as the villain. While I still love him unconditionally, this story truly made me look at him in a new light. It was different, refreshing, gut wrenching and flat out amazing! It's nice to read something so drastically different than just the classic Billie or Mike love story with an OC. Wonderful story!
