sorry, didn't mean for a double post, sooo I'll just post another fun comment... i hope that Brent does right by his son and gets to see him now often, but to threaten to take a child away from his mother and the only patent that he's ever known is an awful thing to do to a child. it would only make him look like monster down the line after the "new car smell" wore off. eventually, the fun and games would cease and that's when little Evan would realize that he wants too be with his mother. i hope for brent's sake, he thinks about that first.
okay, so, as a die-hard rangers fan, i shouldn't enjoy reading stories about any team except them, but i love reading stories from across the nhl (except any about the flyers xD ). this was an excellent first couple of chapters and i can't wait to read more. keep up the great work... i have a soft spot for well-written hockey stories<33
I certainly understand Brent's position but he did turn his back on her in the beginning. Whether right or wrong, the bottom line is, like any great mom she made a decision that she thought was protecting her son from being hurt. Hindsight is always 20/20. Love the story:)
