"Tell me that's a joke" were some of the first words I said after I saw a post about my friend dying - I said nearly the same about another friend just five months ago today. This second friend had an open casket funeral, and I felt much the same about that as this writing describes. I never thought I would read something that I could relate to almost to a T. It seems like you chose each single word carefully - because each single word feels necessary to me; they all paint a picture, they all make me feel.
