This was wonderful, of course it was, and I absolutely adored it and agh. So much love.

Aww, this is gorgeous. I love their whole meeting backstory. It's so gorgeous. I just cannot.

I understand how Hayley feels though -- my boy lets his hair grow out until I can't see his eyes too, and it's like "where'd you go? Come back". I wonder how she'll cut it for him. Will she just trim it? Will she chop it all off? Shave? Bowl cut? Who knows. It's Hayley.

Oh my god, this fic. It seriously still will make me laugh, especially when he gets them chopped off. (Not if---when. Damn.)

All the parallels to their budding relationship never fail to make my heart happy. He was in her hometown walking around like an aimless fucking gypsy, then bam, he sees her. He feels the need to comfort her despite them not being close like that yet. I cannot even with that selflessness.

Also the fact that you seamlessly blended in the drama of SJ, Chad, and the ketamine addiction in there (all such valid, apparent struggles) is even more of a reminder that they made it. They have faced obstacles that were much greater than imagined and remained grounded through each other.
