Well I mean, he's a guy who lives in a rural part of a place that shares very little information apart from "traditional" and narrow, so I think Gerard knows what "gayness" is, but he thinks it's something that could never ever touch his life, like it's such an alien and unheard of idea to him, because this is a period fic in a lot of ways, so the idea that anyone he knows or himself being gay are just things he has never considered. If this were a modern Ella Enchanted AU things would be different, but since it is an ambiguous but still definitively pre-industrial revolution era AU, he's just a fucking idiot who likes a guy but doesn't know what that means.

GERARD IS SUCH AN ADORABLE NIMWIT OK SERIOUSLY he's like "yeah he's hot and nice but NO I DONT THINK HES HOT OR NICE and also does he not know that gayness exists?? he seems completely perplexed by the idea of a guy finding a guy cute and not just in the "but I'm straaaaiiighhht!!!" way.? and Frank gave a pretty massive hint last chapter or two chapters ago i don't remember exactly,, that he's a homosexual and gerards just too dumb to have caught it. ridiculous. loving this, every chapter is just better and better, cuter and cuter. Hope you get the attention you deserve after this update because I'm just loving this story way too much haha<3

Honestly this is just fantastic. Awesome idea- to mix frerard and the movie together. Fantastic product. Writing is fantastic too, as in all your other stories. The sorta love hate relationship between Gerard and Frank is absolutely perfect. Update soon!
