This is pretty awesome. From the name I was hoping it was a fanfic from the movie but although it's not I'm utterly not disappointed. Please update and soon

this seems so... mysterious, and i feel that's what pulled me to this piece in the first place. i was surprised, though. the writing is just -- man i feel it's pretty akin to actual poetry. the fact the protag wants so desperately to get down to the basement is curious to me, on account of the story being about a maze, i presume.
all in all, i'm excited to see where this goes, considering there are many places you can take a story like this to.
