Hi! It's Eve (previously americancandy.) and I'm finally getting around to judging my Christmas contest that I held. Life kinda got in the way and I lost the motivation for a while, so my apologies, but I'm here now!
As promised, I'll be leaving a comment on every entry regardless of the place it ranks.
First of all, the layout is gorgeous and I adore it.
Second of all, I love that the characters are anonymous (thought by default I was picturing John O'Callaghan... not that that's a bad thing). The first chapter was lovely. Such a short piece but conveying so much emotion about being far from home.
I only noticed one mistake, this line here: "his voice almost a whisper so he didn’t blow her eardrums like he did hers." I think you maybe meant, "like she did his," instead! But that's all I noticed.
Overall, I really like how short and sweet it was. Such a precious Christmas ending, and perfect reading material to match that song. <3 I think you really did it justice, well done.
