I'm fustrated with everyone, Alec for being so either okay with Warren torturing Lily or not knowing he did, either way sick of him being an idiot. Warren is a terrible human being and I'm glad Lily out him in his place. I'm fustrated with Lily for thinking she could save these people by running off to the Queen who will surely attempt to have them killed for treason, I'd be equally as fustrated if she didn't though, so I guess I'm fustrated at the no win scenario you've created . At least Belle and Lily are getting along !

You guys are seriously going to leave me breathless with the amount of updates I seem to get behind on. Seriously. This story gets better and better with each chapter. If I didn't know it, the Queen has fallen in love... or she hasn't and is trying to trick everyone!

QUIT UPDATING SO QUICKLY. I didn't realize that you guys updated this story since I can't get to the email that I've put on this site. So the only way I know is when I check the story page.

I am so glad that some backstory has been added about the characters. I was wondering when I was going to find out. Gahh, I am so worried about what kind of other protections the Queen is going to have for Lily since she knows that Lily went outside of the wall. I hope she doesn't lock Lily in her room or something since she can do that.

I WORRY FOR LILY.

Well, only against the queen. But not against bandits, that's for sure. That girl can fight! I didn't quite expect any less since she was an orphan and they have to learn to fight anyone who is mean to them and tries to take their things. I am still so in love with this story!

I've had this story bookmarked for a few days now, since the first chapter was posted I believe, and I can't believe I haven't read it until now. I guess I'm glad that I waited because there are more chapters for me to read, but whatever. I'm just happy that I'm finally sitting down to read all the chapters.

What a grim way to start a story, I'll tell you that. I'm not complaining about how it started, far from that, just pointing it out. I think it really showed me what kind of person Queen Angelique is, just a bored, evil person who cares little for the townspeople. I mean, I already knew that she wasn't a good queen from the summary, but it really shows and reienforces the idea even more.

The contrast between how the people saw the queen and how she acts around Lily is astonishing. It's as if she's a completely different person; she seems nice, loving (a little too loving to the men), and just seems like a good person who married the king to have a better life for herself and for Lily. I don't even know what to think of her at this point. Do I like the queen or not?

I really love the relationship between Alec and Lily. It's a nice friendship that's lasted since childhood (even though they didn't remember each other until the next morning). But he's going to be the one to tell her everything about what they are living with and how bad the queen really is. I just feel bad for her though, finding out that her best friend isn't a good person as she thought she was. It's just sad.

I am seriously in love with this story. I read through all the chapters in one sitting because I needed to know what was going to happen. This story is amazing, and both authors are wonderful and really bring life to the characters, and it's just absolutely wonderful.

this is amazing. The story had a smooth pace and already, I am in love with the characters. This reminds me so much of V for Vendetta for some strange reason. Perhaps since it starts similarly and revolutions. This is off to an excellent start.
