This was absolutely heartbreaking. It made me happy that Sanjh got what she want, but it made me sad that she lost someone so important to her in the process. The ending, with the diary, just blew me away; it was something I really was not expecting. I mean, I didn't think that the tree was giving her everything that she needed, but to think that it was someone so close to her? Amazing.
You have no idea how much I really loved this. I swear, it could be a published book... for children maybe? The message of the story just screams children's book. That's not a bad thing, that's not what I'm trying to say of course, but a good thing. You have managed to put so much emotion and hope into this story about a little girl, and create such a wonderful world with it. Amazing work!
