Thanks so much for the advice! I really appreciate it. :D I thought the falling asleep might be a reach, but in my mind it would be very similar to sleeping in a tent with nothing between you and the hard ground but the thin tarp. It would have been an exhausting night, after all. ;)

Lol...they fell asleep right there?! I'm shocked. Also that sounds painful because it's right on the hard ground.

Anyways I like your story, but i think if you add some more details that will help make it less dream like. Like how she got an invitation, which parent has freakishly awesome purple eye genes, what type of castle she got invited to that has an entire empty grove!?
