I've not been able to find anything to read lately, unfortunately! Not having much time has been a big factor in that, sadly.

That sounds fantastic! I can't wait to read more.
I'm currently searching for more reads and I've read a few but none are quite as capturing as your story.

Do you have any suggested reading in the meantime??

I am actually planning on re-editing with more details of the settings. I have a notebook with each realm mapped out and each town described in length - even places the characters haven't been to yet (and may not even go to!) World building is a big deal, and I think you'll see more in the sequel with the kingdom of Fallycia. The history and mythology of that particular place is something I've already got a lot more for, so I think while The Poison Prince (and Lyris!) gets edited, the sequel (and Fallycia) with benefit first time round from the richer descriptions and fuller settings. At least that's what I'm aspiring for!

To be out there. My only suggestion would be to add more details of the setting so each place feels more real.

Because it's in third person you can add more to the setting without making it seem like xylia is the one thinking about all this. She can still seem unconcerned with riches and such anyways.

Love it! I'm hooked. I caught up in a day because I couldn't stop reading. I was hoping I wouldn't. Lol. The characters are wonderful, the plot is enticing. I can't wait to see what happens next. =D

Thank you! Hopefully, one day, it might just be published, haha - a girl can dream, right? xD A few twists are about to crop up soon, and I'm working on the next few chapters right now!

This story is really good, I almost felt like I was reading something that had been published! I love the pace, and your development of the characters, and I am really excited to see where you take it!
