My favorite stories are ones that crush my soul and obliterate my heart, and I feel like this will be one of them. I love how you're telling it through memories, like tiny little snapshots. They're adorable.

THIS LAYOUT.

Uuuuugh why do I feel like this story is going to fuck me up? Why you gotta do that to me, Lizz? I feel like this is just going to be beautiful but heartbreaking and I'm excited but I'm also already sad. I ain't got time for all these feels.

The only thing I noticed was this: It sun had started its descent to the horizon and the coolness of the air was a welcome relief.

In love with this line. Idk what it is but I love when people are referred to as having edges or sharp places. Like why am I even entered in this contes when I stand no chance against this?

"You’re laughing at me, aren’t you?" WHAT A BRILLIANT WAY TO SPARK YOUR CHARACTER'S PERSONALITY SO SMOOTHLY IN THIS CHAPTER. This line is so great and it definitely caught my attention. You're breaking my heart, Lizz. DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART seriously though, this is written like one of those coming of age romantic movies people would recommend to friends when they want some tearing action to happen (just like A Walk To Remember)

Loved the layout~ it really matches the tone of this plot. Can't wait to see where you take this!!

This is so sad and sort of frightful. I'm already hoping that the writer, whoever they maybe to Halie, can keep her safe and make her feel wanted. I think you did a great job putting in a small sense of mystery in this story, intentional or not. I hope to find out what happens next soon.
