Love this story but these two are not good for each other. This is not a functional relationship and am excited to see how you write this out because I like your writing but these two are toxic!
She told him , he did have to just find out which is a lot better than most relationships now days. I think its a little harsh for him to demand for her to cut people out of her life. I could understand wanting to only hang when you are all together at first or in a huge group of people. Eventually though if your partner is uncomfortable with a relationship you have with someone, one relationship or the other is going to end
Well that's not fair Geno. You got to sleep with as many women as you want and she slept with one while you were separated and now they can't be friends? I can't with him right now
Her body can respond without her actually responding. Somehow though I don't think thats the case. I understand her being a bit in shock about his announcement of love but she really just needed to leave and say call me when you are okay with being a friend
Oh boy. So I've been a silent reader for quite some time, and I gotta say... I'm kind of mad. Mainly because I was hoping that after she got into that position with Bobby and had grown a little while she was with Geno, I was hoping that she would be a stronger version of herself, but apparently not. I mean, she's fantastic doctor, that's a very strong career to be in and so that confuses me about Quinn. Like, she's confident in her career, surely she'd be confident and be strong mentally or something.
A few things happened so fast for me. Geno dumps her, leaves, fools around, she's killing herself by going back to an abusive relationship that happened months ago, Geno comes back tries to talk to her after he went and got other girls out of his system, and she comes back only to down a whole bottle of pills. And now they're okay and back to living together? What.
"Their relationship is quite the whirlwind." ... You got that right. I don't know. You got something going on with this story, I enjoyed what I read. I liked how you had put successful surgeries, as well as fatalities. That evened it out for me, and didn't make Quinn seem like the best doctor in the world. Those were really fun to read. I also liked the way you wrote Geno, and the way he spoke. That made it seem realistic to me, although that probably doesn't count because I'm not a Penguin fan so I don't know much about the players.
But, yeah. Good luck with the story and your future ones!
