Just to get it out of the way — I'm a huge fan of the layout. I like the font and the width of the story space.
I know it's only the first chapter and a bit early but I really hope those two find (permanent?) happiness. Obvs not sure if they have it now, so. There's something really slow and soft and quiet about what I've read so far and. It feels like reading in limbo. I like the subtle details that you've slipped in, so I get a sense of the surroundings, but not in a way that detracts from the story. Also the justification of Nacer's stubbornness, like a detail about his personality.
I think the dynamic of the relationship between Antoine and Nacer is already very present, and familiar.
