I love Matt's character development, I really fucking loved it. Like, he was all egotistical and a bit of a prick but the solitude has made him learn a lesson and that's what sets this apart from most supernatural stories. The main character is put through something and he/she doesn't gain anything from that.

He's a cat! Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! Gosh darn I loved this so much!

I also really liked the ending. It was so unexpected and just wow! I didn't expect him to go out like that. I thought for sure Luna would murder him or something!

You set a really nice tone and mood between them, the contrast between how he was and how he ended up was really nice. A lot of people always make vampires happy about what they are, or in the least accepting - Matthew isn't, and it shows in the lack of ego he now has. Being a strigoi destroyed him, instead of giving him some kind of edge. And that he chose a cat as his animal-form was just purrfect See what I did there? Hurr-hurr
