like a blue rose, i haven't read anything pirate/merman affiliated before on here (though i broke my trend of action-thriller & started my own bc PIRATES!) on another note, i felt like the summary was the summary of a book you read @ barnes & nobles. like the type of book you pick up & flip over & you just read the hook before you're tragically pulled in. then you waste all your $$$ bc impulse control issues!!

i just saw a mistake in the first paragraph:

i love the fact that this lady-pirate is totally a bad ass. nothing like some female empowerment w/ the undertone of a romance regarding this so-called runaway prince ie: your summary.

you always start off your stories so simply & sweet. the chaps are short & easy to follow, & im never disappointed! you've won yourself a fan c:

You need to update this like ASAP.

I haven't read any pirate, merman stories on her before and even though it's only one chapter, I really can't wait to see where this goes (subscribing) the summery and the first chapter pulled me in right away. It's not long and drawn out or short and to the point. It's actually just right, enough to pull the read in and wonder what happens next. Your description is great as well.
