I'm a major supporter of pure fluff, so I like that you decided to just fluff it up and stick with that. I really enjoyed the way you incorporated all of the prompts into the story. Having the letters be like a little treasure hunt things was adorable and it was so cute having Jason playing their song on the piano.
The emotion through the story was great, you could really feel the love between both of them and I really enjoyed reading that. I also appreciated that even though the characters in the story are gay, that wasn't a central plot point at all. I find quite often with LGBT+ stories, people make a big deal about the gay part, but you just gave them normal lives with was fantastic.
I found myself really wanting to know more backstory behind the couple. You've set up such an interesting scenario for the two of them, with saying how they had rough patches and they may have more, and I'm so curious about what went on. That being said, I think you picked a great little moment to focus on and the story stands very well without adding the back story in. I'm just incredibly curious
