This was written very well, and I like that you went for a historical piece, which is not something I find very often on this site. Your word choice was amazing and really hammered home the tone of the piece and your imagery.
While I enjoyed this piece, I don't feel it fit the parameters of the contest, as the color is not the focus. With that said, it was still beautiful and I liked your layout a lot.
