I really love the way you captured the bromance between Jared and Jensen. It was beautiful to see. I also like the way Jared almost ran but thought better of it. And aww, look how happy he is to see Peyton texted him!!

Chapter Eight

The beginning was so romantic and I love seeing the chemistry between them and how they act around one another. It's really sweet! However, I think it's good that Peyton held off telling Jared about everything.

Aw, the conversation was so sweet and LMAO at the fact that Jared didn't think she got the text. She totally got it sweety, just accept it and move on because she's probably falling in love with you too.

Chapter Five

The way Jared feels is exactly how I feel every time I have to see my therapist, so I know how he's feeling and you made it so real. I appreciate that so much about this story.

I'm with Rylee on this one, I'm absolutely heartbroken for Jared even in the first few paragraphs. I think it's a really common thing with depression -- this idea that you've got nothing to be depressed over and the fact that you've linked it into everything seemingly going so right for Jared throughout his life is just horrible for him. It's not a nice thought, to think that you're being 'selfish' or whatever just because of what's happening. He's got every right to feel down like every other person and I think that's what breaks my heart the most.

I love this line. It's just so poignant and sad that I really just wanna give Jared the biggest hug ever.

I'm hoping that everything is going to turn around after the first chapter because honestly, it just left me feeling so bad for Jared and for everything that's happened / happening with him. I'm hoping that this little fateful tweet will pick everything up.

I love the analogy of therapy being like being in a fish bowl because it just makes so much sense. Every single little thing you do is under scrutiny, just like somebody was staring in at you living your life from the outside. I instantly feel myself connecting with Peyton from the very beginning and instantly, I'm excited to see where her character development will go!

And again with the heartbreak -- Liam sounds like a right dick, and honestly, I can relate again. I had an ex that was like him (minus the BDSM stuff) and it makes you feel like such a small person and it's really difficult to build yourself up again after being with somebody who's mentally and/or physically abusive. I feel so bad for Peyton and I really hope Liam doesn't turn up again because I feel like that'll cause drama between whatever is blossoming between Jared and Peyton.

I really like the fact that you're delving more and more into the psychological side of things with these chapters. You've got a lot of the feelings and thoughts that Jared's going through and some of it is explicit, and some of it is more implicit. It's nice to read something as well thought-out as this appears to be in terms of the character development. There's only three chapters so far and I already feel like I'm getting an understanding of the characters and their behaviours. I can also attribute the way you write Jared to his real-life persona, which is really good. It's difficult to write fanfiction because you've got this character that you've got to stay true to and I think you're doing well with that for sure, especially within the first couple of paragraphs of this chapter.

Oh my gosh I love that they literally ran into one another. So smooth on Jared's part, but also pretty cute too! I'm excited to see how far this goes and what part fate is going to play in this. I've got a feeling there'll be a few curveballs thrown in to try and take them off-track though, so I'm ready for drama when it appears!

I absolutely loved this first chapter! You give such an in-depth look into Jared's life and what he's going through and I loved that about it. The fact that his girlfriend/fiance left him was so heartbreaking, and so was his reaction to it. It's really sweet that Danneel and Jensen are willing to let him stay at their place, and I do hope they'll aid his recovery.

Chapter Two

It seems Liam will still be a problem in future chapters, though I hope it doesn't come to that because he seem possessive af and she doesn't need that. I do like how you're putting a spotlight on abuse in the BDSM lifestyle. I haven't read a fic like that before, so it's very appreciated to see! And it's so realistic to see the fact that she still misses Liam and the 'safety' he'd provided her with, despite the fact that it was abusive.

I smiled so wide at Jared's message. That was so sweet of him to say and I'm hoping that Peyton's day is brightened because of it! It seems like she has a really good support system behind her in Carrie.

One thing that I really love about your writing is just how realistic it is. The therapy, the abuse, the hard times it's all perfectly believable and I enjoy how you're focusing on that as well as everything else.

I can't wait to read more. Great job!

I'm really excited for this! I actually just picked up Family Don't End in Blood at NJ con this past weekend and had Jared sign it. I plan on giving it a read during my off periods while I'm subbing.

I haven't read a Jensen story in a long while, but I'm really excited to see where you take this one. I love that it seems like it's going to focus on real topics rather than just romance and already your writing has me completely captivated. I think you're off to an excellent start with this!
