i do enjoy the first bits of this piece. amilee listening to her parents squabbling is a perfect scenario i can see in my head. this mother as this stern, stoic, frustrated person pestering & pestering out of fear & determination. i can relate a lot to this mother.
you really keep the walker's as gruesome & sickening as they are in the show as well as the classic "oh my god, what the fuck is this?!" reaction people have. staying true to that is gold, especially since you managed it so greatly. but goodness, this is morbid. what with the children & what not...
