Oh, no. I think I've just found my guilty pleasure read on this website. This reminds me of something I would have eaten up as a teenager and I love that. I like the straightforward style of your prose, also, it's a nice change from poetic prose. Sometimes you just need a light story to keep you entertained, and this story definitely accomplishes that task, for me at least.

I really can't wait to see more of this. I would love to read more about Dan and Avery's history together, like what were their interactions like when their brothers were friends and they were inevitably forced to interact with each other because of their mothers? Was Dan really always as bad as he is now in high school as the stereotypical player? (The last question is what I want to know most.)

But, honestly, I just can't wait to see this pan out. You've hooked me in, and I feel so bad for wanting to read a high school romance story as bad as I do, but dammit, I can't help it. Great job!
