You have everything to show from this (if that makes any lick of sense), this was beautiful. Every break up/ex boyfriend story I read, there's always a constant "I wish I had them back", but this feels a little more realistic, where you almost force yourself to be hostile towards the other for the sake of keeping yourself from getting sad. And then the ending. Lordy, I always did love your stories

Ahhhhh YAY YAY YAY! I freaking LOVE what you did! The prompt was bare and it's amazing that you took it a way I've never seen. I was feeling so much for both of them, hurting for Jack, confused about Alex. And then I just fell to pieces at the end. Your details are perfect (I swear I shivered along with Jack on the swing).
