I can definitely say I wasn't expecting the twist at the end. Honestly, my thought is that he had been out late and didn't want his wife to know, so he was sneaking in. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that that wasn't the case, though. Her reaction plus his reaction made all of this so much more emotional with the description you used of him going into their room and cuddling up to his wife.

The fact that she told him to leave, but he stayed and then their love confession at the end. Part of me wonders if she really does love him, and I want to see more of these two, but I also love where you ended it. I love the whole 'not knowing' aspect of this, because you'll never know if they're truly happy in the end or not.

This was an amazing read. Great job!

This was written beautifully. It was short but precise. The descriptive words you used to develop the right emotions were dead on. It gives me the wonder to know more about the fight they had, but it was a good that you created this piece this way, so it can give readers the opportunity to imagine/analyze what were they fighting about. The ending was phenomenal because you showed how much these characters loved each other in so an intimate way.

    Great work! Hug

That was beautiful and so cute for a small piece. I enjoyed your detailed descriptions and the short dialogue between the couple. When there's love all you need is honesty to make up and that come across nicely through your piece. Good job! Well done!

This is a nice little in sight into an intimate moment between two characters. It brings up a lot of questions that are okay to be left unanswered. This is truly beautiful.

This is so cute. Reminds me a lot of my boyfriend and myself as I used to always be the one to leave, he'd call to make sure I got home to my mother's at the exact moment I pulled up to the curb of her house knowing full well that I was already thinking about coming home. I did enjoy the mood you set up in the first chapter, dark and nervous. She could have easily said to leave again. It was really cute.

This is so cute! And the way you begin the short story with such amazing descriptions, is flawless! I love it!

Man, I wish this stuff happened in real life but people are so prideful now-a-days that cute, sweet things like this actually happening are slim.

On the bright side, we can always write about it. And you've written an amazing piece! Arms thanks for the cuteness!
