Yeah, A LOT of people were pissed. I was upset but not at them. Just bummed. I'm hoping that they will come back soon to make it up. Who knows if they will. Hopefully, they will make it back your way and that it won't be that long for you!!

Oh my god, I remember that on social media. People were getting so mad at them. This year, I don't know if I'll have any concert to go to. They were here twice last year so that often means three years of nothing afterward. And I don't know where I'll be going to college, so there's that.

Yes! I was supposed to have that happen this year but... my show last month got cancelled the day of the show due to a power outage at Atlanta airport, so the band couldn't fly in and get to Charlotte. This year.. I'm making it happen.

Hahaha It's like that for me in other countries too! I get that! We def do get a lot of the really amazing tours. I hate that they aren't able to do them the same way everywhere.

Whenever people tell me which state their from I'm just like .... right... I know that name, but I don't know where it is. Always have to google it, but I'm horrible with any country in the rest of the world as well. I've been 'close' to North Carolina (which is actually like hours away probably), but I'm assuming the weather generally stayed sort of similar in areas. Now I understand the heat you were talking about. I'm just pissed that the UK and the US always get the 'special' tours.

I didn't even think about converting it! Silly me! It rains a lot in the town I live in. It's actually a temperate rainforest right in North Carolina. Tons of rain. If I had the money to fly to the UK for them I would too. I'm hoping to go there next year though!

80s... I had to convert that to Celsius. That is pretty hot. It's always cold and rainy here... :( I hate going to school in the rain (yes, the Dutch stereotype of everybody going by bike is true). I will happily get sick for bands though. I would even fly out to the UK, if I had the money, for the upcoming tour, but it's just before my finals... not too expensive from here, but so not the right time.

Very true! It's in the 80's here in Spring, so it's pretty hot and humid. I live in the south in the US though, so that is to be expected. lol. I will gladly take being hot and sweaty (even if I do hate it at the moment) in order to see amazing bands though :)

That really sucks. At least you did get to meet them. Look on the bright side. That's what I also do (especially with my last ATL concert experience). Why be stuck on what sucked when you actually had a good time overall?
A spring tour is the best. Autumn tends to get too cold too fast (or at least where I live) while spring is still bearable. Autumn is winter coat weather, spring is raincoat weather.

Exactly! It's like they thought it made them look cool or grownup to be assholes to him. He was his normal sarcastic/sassy self and handled it like a pro but he was WAY nicer about it than I would have been!!! I felt so disgusted by the time I got in to meet them for the pic and stuff. I looked it in my pic too lmao I think we need a fall tour... not hot but not cold lol

Why the hell are people so mean? I just don't get people who always say 'well it isn't like before so I hate it'. Just deal with it. Your opinion isn't going to change anything. The opinion of a small group of fans in a sea of millions isn't going to make a crew/management change their decisions. I feel you.
The good thing about fall/winter is that nobody is sweaty already when going inside, the bad thing is freezing your ass off while waiting outside and getting sick (I got sick twice now). I literally lost my voice from waiting outside in the cold. For some weird reason I never lose my voice when screaming along with the songs, but the waiting got me.

I had water in line but once I got inside I was so over some of the girls who were in the M&G line ( they were being assholes to Danny -- saying he was no Matt so they didn't have to listen, and saying they deserved to.. whatever it was I can't remember) that if I didn't have a beer or booze of some kind I was going to snap. I'm too old for that bullshit and it's just plain rude. I think I would rather have them tour during the fall/winter.

I can't imagine having to wait in hot weather. Bands only tour in the US when it's summer. I've always been freezing my ass off mainly in November, one time in April. $12 is a shitload of money though. I usually buy a drink or bring one with me when I wait. Then, of course, throw it out or finish it depending on how close I am to finishing it when the doors open. And then just make sure we have large water bottles when we go back home. It's the way to go.

hahaha. I never even thought of that. Was solely thinking about how fucking hot it had been outside waiting for the signing and then later meet and greet and how much I wanted that drink lol. Later ended up paying $12 for a flippin beer lol.

You've been around for long then. I only 'rediscovered' them in 2015. I found out I actually already knew a few of their songs from when I was eleven or something (I'm guessing eleven because that's when I listened to songs from many bands I started liking again in the past couple of years without really realizing.)
You should have stolen the solo cup and sold it on eBay... missed opportunity. So many fangirls that would go crazy about it... could have probably bought yourself another ticket or two with that money.
