Started reading this today and I really love it. I'm all about pre-apocalypse Daryl fics and this just hit the nail on the head, I'm enjoying every minute of it. I can't wait for the update, keep them coming!

Haha I know it, I wanted to do something different. Everyone seems to use the same old worn out storylines over and over again, so I figured I'd bring a little "horror movie" into it, mix things up a bit. Plus it goes so well with what I have planned for the future. Glad you're liking it!

Thank you, it will be a year next month and writing this was a little hard.
And although this was something that brought them closer, it wasn't the thing that makes it all go where it needs to. Little pushes and shoves from all directions.

You did a great job on this chapter. To me, it described the experience of a funeral as I have experienced them. I've never been able to look into the open casket because that's not the last memory I want of someone. It was great that Daryl was supportive without making it seem like they were being pushed together for the sake of moving the story (I hope that makes sense). I'm sorry for your loss of a sibling.
