I WANT MORE JONAHJuly 24th, 2017 at 06:33am

I know that a Resident has very little time for anything outside of work, but if Mollie was really interested in moving on from Sid, she would have found someone. It sounds like Jonah was just someone to kill time with. Mollie was not emotionally available to commit to a real romantic relationship.
But even to hear that Mollie had dated someone must have crushed Sid. I am sure his mind would have immediately gone to - "how far did this 'dating' go?" And being ever the competitor - "how do I measure up against this guy".July 19th, 2017 at 06:19am -
Yikes!!!! These two need to get out of their own way......eventually!!!July 19th, 2017 at 03:44am

So Molie has made the decision to "move on" and "re-invent" herself. That is easier to do on the outside....the inside is much trickier.
But it will be interesting to see if Mollie truly did move on or was she emotionally on hold until she could get back to Pittsburgh.July 15th, 2017 at 03:56pm -
Can't wait for more:)July 15th, 2017 at 02:45am

While the sexual tension is palpable, if anything more than a romp in the sack is to happen between these two, they are going to have to go back to the issue of the break up and try and rebuild trust. I agree with FootieJo - it wasnt just the fact that Molly got accepted to Johns Hopkins that broke them up.
And were there "others" in the interim - on her side...his side...or both???July 11th, 2017 at 11:05pm -
Oh, how I love the meddling families!!!July 11th, 2017 at 08:21pm

well he could be babysitting kids and need a doctor so of course needs her number lol. they broke up for a reason they need to sort that first if they are going to try and make another go of it. no matter what everyone else want it should be left up to them. though a bit of pushing together won't do any harmJuly 11th, 2017 at 03:46pm

But this relationship had an expiry date. They both knew that Jonah would be moving on after his fellowship ran out and odds were, he was not going to stay in Baltimore. And even if by some miracle he did, it would have only delayed the inevitable, as Mollie had always intended on returning to Pittsburgh after her residency was complete. So between them, there was never the pressure of trying to develop a "forever" relationship. Career direction and goals took precedent, so "no-strings" worked well for both of them.
"No-strings" allowed for a freedom that Mollie never had with Sid. It gave her the opportunity to grow and express herself without always looking over her shoulder and doing the politically correct thing. And while Mollie enjoyed their time together and was sad to see Jonah go, her heart was never really involved. It couldnt be because her heart still belonged to Sidney.
But I still think Sidney will be jealous of Jonah - and the time Jonah got to spend with Mollie. No guy likes to thing of "their girl" with another guy- even if they were "on a break".
