Hey! Thank you so much for your feedback. It really is very helpful, I am working on Chapter 1, where I am going to write the rest of the story out of the mothers point of view. If you have any other ideas/ critiques you are most welcome to let me know. :)

Heya. I really liked this. It's a really great opener and it certainly grabbed my attention. I liked that you can go in literally any direction; fantasy, new adult... dare I say horror? I also liked that your prose was simple and descriptive without being so showy that you lost me as reader. I'd be interested in hearing the parent's story from the mother's point of view though. Sorry, if this wasn't helpful. This is literally my first critique. (If you can call it that.)
