I've been catching up on your story; I'm hooked. This reminds me very loosely of Kingdoms of Amalur (probably the elf part really). I'm sad the story is already ending so soon when I just found it. Looking forward to more!July 27th, 2019 at 04:15am

Garrett can't follow her to a dwarf fortress + she's like her mother. Aka gon' do what she wants regardless of the consequences. Safer if she thinks she's a dwarf, than if she tries to lie about being half elf. At least that's Garrett's logic.July 16th, 2019 at 07:29am -

First off, damn torture doesn't sound so good esp when that poison is doin it's best to kill him..
OH snap, Garrett is her dad? And he still lets her go to dwarf territory to try and rescue Elaine that he/they ultimatly want dead..

Leeland definitely has his own agenda, which is probably why you shouldn't agree to fulfill 'any' favor when offered immortality. Oh well, TBH I'd probably make that same deal.

came across this story a little earlier today, and just finished reading all the chapters and i'm totally hooked! love it! and can't wait to see what'll happen to Hannah, Elaine and Leeland- who seem very mysterious, i mean he's an elven god, still he wants the dwarfs to win? hmm.. can't wait to read the next chapter June 13th, 2019 at 06:22pm
I've never played that game before, but the three faction world and elves do seem to make it similiar! Might have to give it a try :) The story is actually based off an RPG setting my brother wrote, although I've really deviated from his source material.
This book will end on a cliffhanger. It was always going to be a series and after seeing that it would take over 140k words to get to my original ending, I decided to split the book in half. So the sequel will have the same characters and take off where this one leaves off. I'm actually editing this one down in hopes of getting it published. I haven't decided yet if I'll put up the completed version or link it to the ebook instead. I am a starving artist in need of money so...
Anyway glad you like it!!! Hope to see your comments on the sequel. I'll probably post its first chapter this week, but the story will remain inactive until I'm done with edits on this one.
