Amelia - Comments

I normally don't like short chapters, but this really works. It makes it quite choppy and brings in this overall sense of unease, which is really cool. And also, Amelia and Parker seem almost as psychopathic as one another, so I'm really interested to see how everything escalates. This whole narrative between Amelia being gone and her being back is really cool as well, because it's keeping everything really very curious. Parker as a person seems very manipulative and it's going to be interesting to see how that fares when/if Amelia comes back and tries to do something to him.

The one bit I'm interested in is seeing how and why Amelia goes from having a restraining order against Parker to trusting him enough to go out on the lake with him. It's quite mysterious just now, and there are a lot of gaps that keep the reader curious, which keeps them reading.

I did notice a couple of errors throughout -- in a couple of instances, you capitalise 'jet ski' when it isn't needed, and in the second chapter, you write 'jet ski's' when it should be 'jet skis'. In chapter two as well, you say they're 'on to' him -- that should be 'onto'.

This is good so far, though! I'm looking forward to reading more.

I’m excited to read this. It seems spoopy in the same vein as I Know What You Did Last Summer. Although I am quite confused as to why it’s cllaed Drowning, but it seems she was killed in an explosion?

Oh my! It makes me wonder how the Jet Ski exploded like that but poor Amelia. :O The first two chapters were definitely suspenseful and I can't wait to meet Amelia in the next chapter! <3

I am really excited to see where this goes! It has me at the edge of my seat!!!
