I think is was the perfect introduction to the story! I really felt bad for Lauren when her "friend" opened the door looking like that.
I am really curious to know as well how the friend got involved like that with Rhett when she knew how Lauren felt.

Wow, this is awesome! And Rhett knew what he did wrong? Yep! Instant regret and now he's gonna try making it up to her right? XD This was a good chapter, I'd like to know how Amelia got involved with Rhett though. :O

From your intro I'm really interested in Rhett, because he actually knows he is an asshole. Subscribed. I'd love to see where you'll take me with this story. Nice start!

Seeing as I am quite hooked on this project of yours, I'll keep commenting chapter by chapter so you can see my thoughts and my opinions over your writing and the characters you're bringing to life.

Chapter one:
The prologue was cliche but the way you brought the scene to light was very well done. I enjoyed myself with it and I'm excited to see how this will unfold.

Chapter two:
If I was in Lauren's shoes, I don't think I would ever forgive him or try being with him but I guess that depends on the person. We can't expect all people to act the same.

There must be a reason for him to go as far as to find out where she works and go there to meet her, and what's more he needs her help.

With the last sentence you wrote I know I can wait for another debate between them soon. I can't wait.
