This story is so intense and such a ride!! I thought for a while that Matt was my most disliked character, but I just wanna smack this girl and tell her to get it together!! Ugh. I’m waiting on the edge of my seat for more.
And so the cycle repeats itself. Again. Just in a matter of weeks instead of months. Days, actually, as far as them being in the same place physically. Out of all this, I can only say that Zack is right. Everything he said to Laurel made sense, and Brian definitely needs to work out the "is it worth it" question. I'm not even mad at Matt. At least he's there for Brian, whatever his motives, which is more than Laurel can say.
Lord, they are quite the pair. I know she's been through a lot, but damn. She definitely has the overdramatic thing down. It's not like she can blame Brian for what he wants; after all, he had it (her) for a while, albeit with her brother in tow. He was always clear on how he felt about her and that he wanted to be with her.
I guess long distance is better than nothing, but Brian deserves more. She needs to stop being a chicken or cut him loose. I disagree with some of the actions Matt has taken, but I can't blame him for being pissed. He loves Brian -- and is perhaps IN LOVE with him...that doesn't change the fact that he's also his friend, though, and he has every right to be concerned about all the shit Bri is going through for Laurel.
Awe! Ali and Christian are gonna be parents! So sweet.
Kai is obviously her new comfort zone. She gets to pretend she's someone else with him. Being back around Brian (and Jason) means being Laurel again...with all the baggage from her past, which Brian was actually quite a large part of. So I get her hesitation to be alone with Brian. Still, they got the basic Q&A out of the way pretty painlessly. Now to work on the issues that have existed since day one -- and the more recent complications, like his engagement.
I was on vacation when you messaged me! I didn't have time to read, but now I'm all caught up.
This would be the thing to bring them back together. I imagine staying away -- especially with the distance she put between them -- was easy enough, but knowing that someone you love so deeply is in that much pain? Yeah, you'd have to go to him and try to help.
Kai seems like a good person for her to have in her corner. A really simple friendship, with the occasional benefit thrown in. That's all she has really needed since her arrival in London. But I'm sure Brian is going to remind her of what is real, what she actually needs.
I'm not entirely surprised that Bri got back with Michelle. It's familiar and comfortable and he doesn't have to work at it; she sticks by him regardless, which is stupid on her part. I don't love that he reached out to Jason. Just on a personal note, that is NOT something I could understand and be okay with.
Well shit. I guess that's one way to tell him who she is. I hope she knows she just made his day infinitely harder. Lol. It'll be interesting to see how he talks his way around the kisses to Michelle.
