She enjoys getting under his skin a little too much. Pretty sure that's gonna bite her in the ass eventually, either because his attention goes elsewhere or because he turns the tables on her. Still, he and Jimmy are better to her than her own family, so I guess she's stuck with Gramps. Haha!
Ahhhh, I need more, please!! Update soon!! I wanna know if Matt and Cora ever get close lol I love the way she calls him grandpa and the way he reacts to her antics, I literally laugh out loud when I read those. Great job hun, can't wait for more!
She is a handful. I can't blame Matt for getting irritated. Still, it is funny watching his reactions to things that are normal for her and Jimmy. Lol.
I'm gonna play devil's advocate here and say that her aunt actually does have a right to know where she was. I know if Cora hadn't been so exhausted and hungover, she could have come up with a better answer for what she was doing. Lol. But it seems like her aunt is concerned, in a way, she's just not good at showing it. The feelings come across as angry (coincidentally, my grandmother was that way).
It's sad that her relationship with her cousin fell apart. I know she has Jimmy, and she is slowly bonding with Matt; still, it couldn't hurt to have someone else to be close to.
Cute story so far I like her boldness and dislike of Matf, tho I find it more in treating to see why this adult is hanging out with a teen.
Her home life has me pretty darn curious she just leaves and both Adults are cool with it and where are her parents?
I think Ur Trigger warning is a little to small on the summery , and you might should add one for chapter 1 cause to me that wasn't really passing you describe coke pretty well plus the drinks it would just maybe be good for anyone to know that content is in here.
Chapter 2
I like this chapter and the way you framed it all in I'm still curious on how Jimmy and her became friends and parties and I'm even more curious on the time skips so you're doing a great job
So we get a little insight into Cora, as does Matt. Bless him. He's so adorably awkward, but at least he gave her an outlet. That was sweet of him. And I love her friendship with Jimmy.
Ugh. I remember graduation practice. I wanted to skip the actual ceremony, but my parents wouldn't let me. Lol.
