I am happy that she is finally willing to mend those bridges with her dad. Yes, it hurts when a father/ mother leaves and build a life with another person(and especially if it's with the previous family), but what's done is done. He regrets how this caused the major rift, but he is trying to rebuild the relationship he has lost.

Totally surprised that not at least one of these three gambling men is coming on stronger. They are surely still testing the waters to see how much they can get away with and what is pushing too far. Paul's warnings and her dad's close proximity surely has something to do with this. I would not be surprised if Till will pull his poetic talents to impress her, hahaha! Devil with a silver tongue after all

Give him time. They were talking about current things, stuff they stayed interested in, not what they did in their younger years. Besides, he was trying to prove that there was more to them, not confirm her opinion that they're shallow meatheads. Lol.

I think so far, Chapter 9 had to be my favorite. I'm impressed with Richard's behavior. (Ps, I'm still here)

Interesting, sage advice from the older half brother. Teaching her to let go of her anger/bitterness toward their dad sounds like a good way to start building a relationship.
