    Mike knotted his fingers through Billie’s hair, his head resting on his shoulder as they lay in bed, savoring each other’s presence. A small smile played across his thin lips as Billie sighed and moved closer, his hands placed on Mike’s exposed chest.

    I thought that was adorable. Because not everyone on their anniversary has sex, so I thought that was so cute.
    savoring each other’s presence, I really really loved that piece, I don't know why but it made me imagine that they were laying in bed, limps tangled together, just needing to be with each other. Maybe that's not what you were thinking, but I that's I what I imagined.

    Mike chuckled as he thought of the fiasco they called a first date. “Fat guys cursing in Italian, an old prude who kept saying we were going to hell, and a tipped over pot of spaghetti sauce. Good times.”

    I think that it's great that they can joke around about their first date. Even though for them it went terrible. :arms:

    I absolutely loved this line. It was such a perfect ending. And I'm glad that Billie Joe found love. all was right in the world, if only for one moment. That showed that even though they may have the best relationship that anyone could ask for, the world just cannot be perfect, because something or someone is going to fuck it up.

    Tonks, you are amazing and you're a fantastic writer. I'm jealous.
