I've read this a while ago and I totally loved it, and I wanted to comment but I never got the chance so here is your well-earned review :XD
This whole one-shot has this sense of sadness floating across it. Ryan's persona has this aroma of hopelessness hanging around in his actions and words, even when you read him you know there's a hidden reason to what's he's doing.
And then he delves into that unknown zone it's quite apparent what he's doing once he sees Brendon, who is gone. It's heartwrenching in a sense because it looks like Ryan has nothing to lose so he just wants to be with Brendon.
In life, there is tension. Taut muscles, flooded veins, pounding heart - all at once. Neurons trying to absorb a million feelings and thoughts at once.
In death, it goes away.
That's a great perspective on how life works. How life's stressful pressures fade away when death's on the door.
And I like your writing style, it's crisp and has this atmosphere that just makes you feel what they feel, and I've noticed that it's mostly in the dialogue. Their dialogue is so sweet and pretty, even when Brendon is telling off Ryan, he does it in this firm calm loving way.
The last line was... heartbreaking. I mean honestly, it's a smooth transission and it's... sad. I mean you could have ended it with Brendon leaving but I like that you added the line. It's puppy-dog eyes sad.
This is a lovely piece of writing and I hope to read from you soon <3 Well done :cute:
if you continued this i think i would just love you forever so give it a thought.
thanks for the entry.
