It hasn't been updated in years, but I just stumbled across it and decided to check it out.
It's been a minute since I've stumbled across this long of a story and have managed to get through it all. Something usually distracts me, or the writer changes something and it changes my interest, but this story held my interest all the way through. You're such a great writer! I'm really bummed this was never continued or got an official ending; now I'm wondering who she would've ended up with.
I'm team Alex for this story, although what he did to her wasn't right in the least. I'm disappointed she never told him what happened, but I guess you can't blame her. This being said, even though Derek seems like the good guy... with the side glances he gives Alex, it almost seems like he's using her. I feel like if he was genuine, he wouldn't be smirking or making devious faces after being with her. Idk, though.
But yeah, due to him acting that way, I find it hard to be on his side. And I guess I am sort of biased toward Alex stories, but... sigh. Why'd he have to do that to her? I mean, the cheating is one thing, but taking advantage of her, hurting her. :///// Sigh. He seems to be falling for her, though.
So, yeah, I'm a bit conflicted just like Brook is, I guess.
But once again, great job with this story! It's been a while since you last updated, but I have faith you could come back to it again. I really hope you do, because I'm dying to know how it ends. Even if it's just a quick wrap-up, I would be interested in seeing who she ends up choosing.
I wanted to leave this comment, though, to show you people like me are still stumbling across this story and enjoying it, all these years later. I will be here if you do ever choose to continue it, and will leave feedback. I really hope you consider it... but since it's been so long, I understand if you can't, whether because of lost interest or because you don't have the time to do so. But just wanted to let you know I think you're an amazing writer. <3
