I really love this story as a whole, and I was really disapointed by the whole cliched 'and it was all a dream ending' UNTIL i read the deja vu part.
that made it awesome.

When he bit me, I fell unconscious. I woke up in a victorian-styled room. My senses had been updated, making my hearing sharper, and letting my be able to see clearly in the dark, and dusty room.

I really loved that paragraph. It was very descriptive.
