tbh i cant say how much this story has meant to me...ive been reading this since august but small parts at a time...and well now ive finnished it im at awe' you should get this published; i think im obsessed with this story :o its got my heart welling up in my throat soo bad Argh it wont stop :(
Gerard reminds me of my old art teacher from school..i remember my mam was rather worried on parents evening as i was shifting uncomfortably caus he was talking so intensely about him...nothing went on thank god ;o but the reason why ur story means so so so so much to me; is because of past memories, sniff well done :) best story ever read online ....

I started to read this trilogy again because I heard the song Superstar and it just reminded me so much of it I had to read it. And now that Gerard is actually going to be a dad, this seems contradicting and weird:

"He clasped his hand and only then did I notice he was swivelling a wedding ring on his finger. I looked at it for a while. I don’t know why but I couldn’t imagine Mr. Way being a family man. I couldn’t imagine him going home to a regular house, eating a home cooked meal from his pretty wife then going up stairs to read a story to his kids. It didn’t match him."

This is one of the most beautifully tragic stories I have ever read, published or not. I loved it after the first paragraph. The characters were distinct and well structured as well as the plot. In forty chapters, you created a Gerard that embodied everything a man was. I hope that doesn't sound cliche. I was on the verge of tears when he went over the cliff. That last chapter had me crying. It amazed me it how well it was written. I am definitely going to go check out the sequel.

Okay, I know you have hundreds of comments but I really have to say this is probably the best story I've ever read on here - and the weirdest part? I NEVER read het. Like, never. All I ever read or write is slash (cause I'm weird like that xD) but something drew me to this story, even though you probably finished it ages ago. I was just looking around the site and came across it and I've spent the last hour and a half reading it.

It was, in a word, incredible.

Wow, I totally love this line, : "My knees felt wobbling and my jaw began to shake, the feeling of him behind me slowly intoxicating me into bliss." It totally discribbes anything having to do with Gerard Way!

Oh my God. This is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I read all 40 chapters, and each one of them was amazing!!!! At first I was a little iffy, I'm not that keen on student/teacher, but this was AMAZING!!

I was so convinced he was dead. I thought the last chapter was going to be like the funeral or something. ARGGHHH! Okay, I gotta breathe. I screamed when I read this. My boyfriend thought I was dying or something. I'm gonna go check out the sequel now. Damn! This is awesome!
