Oh! And I loved the repetition of the title throughout the story. It probably could have come up once more in the beginning, but that also might have been overkill.
Gah! I'm personally not a fan of tragedies. There are too many depressing things in the world without me having to create more. But, my idiosyncrasies aside, this was a really masterfully written piece. The phrase "tangling it madly" didn't really do it for me, but that is probably my only criticism. The characters were real, even if we only got glimpses of them, and the even though the story was told from a more distant third person perspective, you could still feel the grief and the raw emotions. Gosh. It was so...sad! *sigh* Anyway. The story was very heart-wrenching and well written. Good job!
