Oh, darling. I love this story! The only thing wrong I can see with it is like, small grammatical errors, but here's the thing. There's great stories, all around. There's great stories that are ruined by grammatical errors, and then there are great stories that are so damn great, the grammer errors go flying out the window as if they didn't exist.

This story definitely falls into the last category. <333

Frank, is simply adorable. I love him, but I think I love Gerard more?
I can't be sure, it's too soon. I need more of Gerard before I make that decision.

Frank should really appreciate his mother a little more. Everything she said makes complete and total sense, no matter how degrading it sounds. Although we, the readers, understand that Gerard means no harm, his mother doesn't see that and I can understand what she's saying. I like Frank's mom a lot, really. She's probably my favorite character, honestly.

Gerard sounds like the kind of person I'll be when I'm older.

Anyway, awesome update. Gerard's poem was a bit uhh, weird. Is he trying to hint at us that he was secretly abused at the 'tender age of nine'? Or maybe he imagines people molestering kids at the tender age of nine. Wow, he seriously needs his head checking...

More when you can, though I still think Frank's poem is better than Gerard's. They should both do poems and compare their notes. That'd be funny.
