I know this seems late to be making a comment but I just found and read this story today. I am literally crying my eyes out. This story broke my heart. It was beautifully written but to tell you the truth, I wish I had not read it. I am devastated. I know it is fiction but the fact that it could actually happen to Gerard - or anyone I love - just upsets me to no end. You are an excellent writer. Keep on.
