This could have gone so many ways, but I'm glad it wasn't violent. I like the whole Stockholm Syndrome vibe this gave off, because it seems so realistic. Now if he'd come at her guns blazing I'm sure it would have been different, but he didn't. He just wanted to get out of there, and didn't want to hurt anyone. The fact he turned himself in and wanted to pay for his crime says a lot about his true character as well. They way they interacted when she visted him after court...
I loved it, and as soon as I fulfill my smut quota reading for the day I shall read the sequel. xx
