Days passed and we moved from venue to venue Max had become a fairly regular part of my life again I saw him most days and I was glad for this but I still didn’t trust him completely, I mean I trusted him with Adam and all just not me I guess. That was always harder for me to do.
I was running late for sound check but I got caught up by Max
“Anna”
“Hey Max”
“Umm” he continued I could tell he wanted to ask something but I wasn’t quite sure what
“So” I said in an attempt to prompt him
“Do you want to do something you know just the two of us without Adam like we can leave him with someone and just hang out like we used to, just be kids again for a couple hours” his words were rushed and he sounded nervous
“But Max were not kids anymore its not just that easy” I protested
“I know but what if I make it that easy”…”What if I sort everything out and plan something totally random then are you in”
“If I say yes then will you let me go to sound check”
“Yes”
“Then fine im in”
“Yes” he started to do his happy dance in front of me didn’t people usually wait till they were on their own before they started their happy dance?
I hurried off to sound check leaving max to dance with himself, I had no idea what he had planned but it was only a matter of time until I found out.
