Fill My Soul With Vomit

"So, now we've covered the basics, let's get down to it." Rachel gave me a cheesy smile before looking down at her paper again. My mouth started to get really dry again. "Is this your first taste of tour life?" Rachel asked in her microphone without looking up.

"Um, no. It isn't." My answer made her head pop up. She was expecting a simple yes and then the next question.

"Really?" Rachel seemed to be arguing in her head about whether I was lying or not.

"Yeah, actually, I've toured with my cousin before and his band. Though I was a lot younger and it would just be the summers since I was still in school." Her eyes lit up more.

"Your cousin?" She picked up on it. "And who may that be?" I cleared my throat even though I hadn't noticed it getting tighter.

"Jonathan Walker, the new bassist for Panic at the Disco." I smiled and her eyes widened.

"Ah, so you've been through the glitz and glam already?" What kind of question was that?

"Not really. When I was visited him, he'd only just begun to be their bassist and Panic wasn't as big as they are now." I crossed my legs so I wouldn't have to see her staring at me, along with Evan.

"What about now? Do you still visit him?" She quoted my words with visit, although she said them like she still wasn't believing me.

"Yeah. We're pretty close so I talk to him on the phone and through the computer all the time. Whenever we're in the same city we all get together and eat or watch movies. Just regular stuff." I shrugged it off, hoping she would get the point and move on. I loved Jon to death. He's about the only member of my family I still talk to, and the only one who hasn't lost their mind. But it made me uneasy to talk about him to reporters. It just felt weird.

"Hmm." Rachel looked back down, apparently finding Jon unappealing already, and skimmed through more questions. "So how are you and the boys adjusting to Warped?" When she looked up her eyes squinted with her fake smile.

"Warped Tour is so much fun. It is really hot and that means the guys get really sweaty on stage and we don't get to take showers very often so the smell is definitely unappealing, but uh, besides that I think we're just having a blast with the amazing crowds and tons of other bands that we like." Very nice answer, have to write that one down when I get back to the bus.

"What about family? Anybody missing their families or girlfriends that they left behind in Texas?" Rachel's head tilted again. She was only after gossip, I swear.

"The guys all keep pretty good contact with their family, and girlfriends aren't a problem they have right now." Keeping my answers short was probably the best idea.

"How is your family doing with the whole tour thing?" Her fake cheer was about to make me jump on her and choke her.

"Well, uh, I don't talk to my family so much." I shook my head and felt my face change. It was the one I always had when I talked about my family. Rachel noticed it hit a nerve.

"Really, why?" She pretended to be concerned.

"Just different opinions." I shrugged it off and waited for the next question. She didn't seem happy with my answer, but there wasn't much she could do.

"Alright." She sounded just as agitated as she looked and went back to the paper. "What's the most thing you miss about home?" Her tone was getting just as cold as it had been to Evan.

"Beds." I groaned, unable to keep my emotions on the inside for this one. "A bunk is only fun for so long before it starts to hurt your back and things get cramped."

"Things get cramped?" She repeated and I didn't like the new way she was taking this. "So you like it better when you don't have six boys surrounding you at all times." She smirked. This was a huge trap, but luckily I had an easy way out.

"Actually, I'm always surrounded by the guys. We all share a house back in Texas." I smirked back at her. By the shock on her face, she was not expecting that one.

"You all live together?"

"Yeah, well, it seemed logically after our first tour." I nodded and decided to try to be cocky, for once. "After the first taste of touring the guys knew immediately that this is what they want to do, non stop, and it just seemed easier to break up a six hundred payment among the seven of us." I shrugged and laced my hands together in my lap.

"Interesting." Rachel didn't seem so cocky anymore as she skimmed the paper again. Interesting was an understatement.

"Adele!!!" Jonathan yelled my name from the top of the stairs, running down them and tackling me to the ground at the bottom of them.

"Jonathan!" I mocked him and laughed at his crazy grin plastered to his face.

"We have a house!" He yelled, not letting my mocking phase him one bit.

"Yes, we do!" I shook my head and tried pushing him off. Of course that was useless.

"But you don't a have a room." His eyebrows furrowed and he looked a little sad.

"Don't worry 'bout it." I ruffled his hair and gave him a cheesy smile. "I don't sleep, remember?" He chuckled and shook head, apparently trying to 'fix' his hair.

"Of course you don't." He used his sarcastic tone and jumped up from off me, holding his hand out for me to grab. "But you do still have stuff."

"Right." I nodded just as sarcastically. "The hundreds upon hundreds of suitcases that are invisible in the living room have to have a separate room for themselves." I rolled my eyes as he pulled me up from the floor.

"What about your painting? How are you going to paint if you don't have a spot to put your easel?" Jonathan followed me as I climbed up the stairs.

"I have my ways." I smirked over my shoulder and led him to Caleb's room.

"What are we doing in here?" He questioned as we pushed past Caleb's many boxes and over to his closet.

"Going to my easel, of course." I smiled innocently at him before opening the closet door and pushing past Caleb'sgood smelling clothes. Jonathan was cracking up behind me.

"You plan on painting, in Caleb's closet?" He was laughing hysterically and standing in the doorway. I ignored him and continued to search in the back of the closet. "Shouldn't you at least be in Kyle's closet?" I shot a glare over my shoulder just as my hand found the knob.

"Kyle and I have decided not to take things to fast, and being in his room after hours is just a little bit to fast." I shot back and opened the door at the back of the closet. Jonathan hadn't meant to make me mad, I knew that, but I couldn't help but let it bug me. He'd been making many tiny comments since Kyle asked me out last week and they were all to much to take in. You'd think your best friends would be okay with you dating his best friend. Right?

"Calm down Adele, I was only joking." Jonathan gave me an apologetic smile, but it didn't touch his eyes. "So, what's this lead to." He nodded toward the stairway behind the door.

"Attic." I mumbled and climbed that stairs. The new house was turning everyone into crazies, and it was not for the best. I sighed as we reached the quiet, somewhat empty room. It was simple, kind of small, plain, which is exactly why it was perfect. I was so happy when Caleb had found the door in his closet.

My easel was already set up in the middle of the room with all of my paints, pastels, oils, everything, in their neat boxes next to it. The only thing that semi bothered me was no windows. I'd mostly be up here when it was dark out anyway, but nothing helped me clear my head like the warm Texas night air.

"It's perfect." Jonathan whispered and I turned to see him looking around. I waited for his gaze to finally fall on me. "Perfect for you." He clarified and my expression softened. Jonathan was my best friend. He knew me better then most people. It was probably just a little hard for him to adjust to me having someone else to run to, but he should know better. Jonathan would always be the first to see my tears, and he was the best at stopping them.

"It is." I agreed and looked around the room again. Everything about me fit in this room.

"Hey guys, lunch is ready." Caleb had apparently bounded up the stairs without making a noise and scaring the shit out of me.

"What is it?" Jonathan asked, unsure if it was edible. None of the six boys were capable of making food without catching something on fire.

"Kyle is making some strange concoction." Caleb shrugged like his usual laidback self.

"Oh jeez." I sighed and headed for the door. As sweet as Kyle was, cooking was way out of his league. Jonathan beat me to it. He blocked the doorway down and smiled at me.

"I'll take care of Kyle, you unpack all your lovely supplies." Jonathan glanced over at the boxes and then kissed my forehead before jogging down the stairs. I smiled after him and turned back around to start unpacking. However, someone had other plans.

"So am I to expect middle of the night visits from you, since your attic doorway happens to be in my closet?" Caleb smirked as he leaned over me and shut the door.

"Probably." I shrugged and went to walk away but Caleb's other hand rested against the door as well, closing me in between his arms. "Caleb, what are-" I was cut off as Caleb's lips pressed hard against mine. I pulled back immediately and stared at him in shock. My back was now fully against the door and Caleb was only smirking at me confidently.

"I like midnight visits." Caleb whispered and started to inch closer again.

"What the he-" I started to yell but Caleb wouldn't let me get it out. He was kissing me again and I couldn't just back up this time. Things were going insane in my mind. My hands went to his chest, trying to push him off, but it was pointless. I could hardly lift the bags of dog food at the store, let alone push Caleb away.

"Adele!" Kyle's muffled yell came from Caleb's room and I was thankful as he pulled away from me. I was in to much shock to move, but Caleb managed to make it over to my easel before Kyle loudly ran up the stairs and threw the door open, hitting me in the back in the process. "Oh my shit! Adele, babe, you okay?" Kyle wrapped his arms around me before my hands even made it to my head.

"I'm fine." I managed and buried my head into his shoulder. Fine was about as close as awful for how I was truly feeling, that is nothing could describe it. I just had one of my closest friends kiss me behind my boyfriend's, and one of his closest friends, back. How am I supposed to describe that?

"I'm sorry." Kyle leaned down and kissed my neck. "Jonathan's being a meanie." I couldn't help but smile at his cute five year old attitude. I unburied my face and noticed Caleb had disappeared from the room before settling my eyes on Kyle.

"And how is Jonathan being a meanie?" I asked him like I was talking to a five year old. Kyle tightened his grip around my waist and a wave of guilt rushed over me, hopefully not showing on my face.

"He took my fish!" Kyle pouted and leaned his forehead on mine. I giggled a little and looked up at his gorgeous blue green eyes.

"You were cooking fish?" I smiled and he nodded, moving my head with his. I gently placed my lips on his and smiled into the kiss as Kyle's hand moved from my waist to my face. He pulled me more into the kiss and thoughts of Caleb disappeared. For now.

"Interesting it is, boring it is not." I added to Rachel's remark. She briskly smiled up at me.

"That's all of our questions for today." Rachel threw her papers at Evan and got up from her stool. "The magazine will call you to reschedule for the rest of the interview." She stormed off. I glanced over at Evan who was busy hitting buttons.

"Uh." I got off the stool and stood there awkwardly with the microphone still in my hand.

"Just lay it on the stool, I'll pack it up in a few." Evan replied, as if reading my mind. "Oh, and don't worry about Rachel." He looked up from the board and smiled at me sweetly. "She's always a bitch." He grinned and I couldn't help but grin with him.

"I figured as much." I shrugged and set the microphone down. "So, I guess I'll see you later."

"Yeah, I'll see if the company will send someone else to interview you." He glanced off in the direction Rachel had stormed off in. "Rachel's used to having the latest gossip just drip for her guests, with her whole 'best friend' act in the beginning, most people give up all their secrets after that." Evan smiled in my direction again. "Give you props for not following the common path." He held his hand out to me and I placed mine in his.

"Thanks." My hand dropped after he shook it and left the tent with a wave.
