Stay Awake

I whined, “Hmm, it has been half an hour. Still stuck in the same street.”
“This is where Harry Potter comes in,”
“OR Edward Cullen.” I frowned
“Stop thinking about vampires!”
“I want apples.”
“What…?”
“I don’t know. I get depressed by heavy traffic jams.”
“I knew that.”
Then there was silence. I couldn’t break the silence because I was too tired of talking, until I fell asleep.
Suddenly, I was in… What the?! Forks? And I saw Bella and Edward (?)
They waved at me. I waved back, but, what the hell?
This all must be a dream. I must enjoy! Excuse me while I enjoy my dream.

“NO EDWARD DON’T!” I woke up and shouted.
“What now, Hayles?”
“But! I was! I was with Edward and Bella! And Edward! He was…”
“Stop it, you were just dreaming from thinking of vampires too much.”
“Yeah, you’re right.”
“Of course I am! Look, we’re home, I mean, you’re home.”
“Thanks for dropping me, Zac.”
“No problem”
“You wanna stay for the afternoon?”
“Hmm, I don’t have any plans for today, so, okay.”
Without answering, I searched for my blackberry, and it was in my pocket already, and I was sitting on my wallet, so I grabbed it in and went in the house, with Zac following behind.
“Hanna! I’m home! Zac’s here too.” I shouted so Hanna could hear me.
“I’m in the living room!” she replied, shouting too.
I skipped to the living room happily. I don’t know what’s gotten in to me today. I was so hyper. Zac was super quiet too, and I think it was because of my hyper-ness.
“What you watching there, Hann?”
“I don’t know, I was bored so I went downstairs.”
“Hey Spongebob’s on now! Let’s watch!”
“Okay, Sponge! Spongebob mode: on.”
“Robot freak.”
When I said that, the Spongebob theme song started and I started singing along. I was really happy because they had new episodes!
“Hey wait, I think I’ve watched this episode before.” Hanna interrupted
“What? But this is brand new.”
“Umm, I kinda watched online because I was bored to death. Hehe.”
“Well, don’t ruin the fun.”
“I’m gonna go get some Ben and Jerry’s, any of you want some?”
Zac turned away from the TV and answered Hanna, “Ooh! Me, me!”
“And you, Sponge?”
“Shush, I’m concentrating,” I didn’t even glance at her and continued watching seriously.
“Suit yourself.”
Hanna went to the kitchen to grab 2 bowls of Ben and Jerry’s and came back, gave one bowl to Zac and went back to her seat.
“What flavor is this?”
“Oh, it’s the Phish thingy.”
“Awsh, I don’t really like it, but… oh well.”
Both of them were busy with their Ben and Jerries while I was busy watching. Until I knew it, Spongebob’s gone. Poof. It was done.
“Gosh, that was quick.”
“There were 4 episodes, Hayley.” Hanna responded
“Well, I need more entertainment!”
“Why don’t you too go to the mall and shop or something?” Zac suggested a very good idea.
I wiggled my eyebrows and took a quick glance at Hanna, and I grinned at Zac. Hanna grinned at him too.
“…Why are you two looking at me like that?”
We continued grinning.
“Oh no! I am not going to drop you two to the mall!”
We continued grinning, again.
“If I drop you guys, would you stop grinning?”
“Yes!” Hanna and I shouted.
“I love you, Zac.” Said Hanna and she hugged him.
“Okay, okay, no problem. I need mall time too.”
“A guy has mall time?” I asked, confused.
Zac smiled and grabbed his keys to go to his car.
“Oh wait! I want to get my wayfarer!” I shouted right behind him, and ran to my room.
“You don't need to shout!” Zac yelled from downstairs. “You don’t want to get anything, Hanna?”
“Nope.”
I ran to Zac’s car and almost tripped. Luckily, I didn’t.
